Bulked Yarn Fiberglass Mesh

GALAXYFIBER alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh is made from alkali-resistant fiberglass yarn treated with a special coating. It offers excellent adhesion and compatibility with acrylic, polyurethane, cement-based, and asphalt-based waterproofing materials, making it suitable for waterproofing projects such as roofs, basements, bathrooms, swimming pools, and exterior walls.

1. Inner Packing: PE shrink film per roll.
2. Outer Packing: Woven bags, cartons, or pallets.
3. Roll Length: 50m, 100m, or 200m.
4. Roll Width: 1m standard, custom available.
5. Custom Packaging: Labels, core size, palletizing available.

1. Surface Preparation – Clean the substrate; ensure it is dry, dust-free, and level.
2. Apply Base Coat – Spread a uniform layer of mortar or adhesive (approx. 2–3mm).
3. Lay Mesh – Press the bulked yarn mesh into the wet mortar, ensuring full contact.
4. Overlap – Overlap adjacent strips by at least 10cm; 15–20cm at corners.
5. Apply Top Coat – Cover with a second layer of mortar, fully embedding the mesh.
6. Smooth – Use a trowel to remove air bubbles and ensure even coverage.
7. Cure – Allow to dry according to the mortar manufacturer's instructions.
8. Finish – Apply decorative coating or tile as required.
