Outside Corner Protection: While primarily used for softer edges, it can also be used to cover exposed drywall edges on other parts of a structure.

Cutting: First we need to cut the J-bead to the desired length, ensuring it fits the drywall edge or opening where it will be applied.

Joint Compound: Then run a thin layer of joint compound along the drywall edge or opening where the J-bead will be installed.

Positioning: Next we press the J-bead into the wet joint compound, ensuring it is properly aligned and securely in place.

Smoothing: We then use a drywall knife to smooth out any excess joint compound around the bead and smooth it into the wall.

Drying and Sanding: Once the joint compound has dried, sand the area smooth to create a seamless, clean edge.

Edge Finish: For door frames, windows.

Drywall: Use around openings where drywall meets a different material, or to create a more refined look for the edge.
