Paperless Drywall Tape
Paperless drywall tape is one of our specially designed reinforced tissue tapes, primarily used for installing, repairing drywall, and reinforcing joints in roofing, walls, and floors. It combines the durability of fiberglass mesh with the density of tissue to provide strong, lightweight, and effective reinforcement and waterproofing properties for drywall seams, joints, and cracks. Fiberglass Mesh Tissue Tape is typically used in areas where extra strength and crack resistance are required.

Apply
- Preparation: First we clean and prepare the drywall joints or seams, making sure they are free of dust, dirt, or loose debris. Next, apply a thin layer of joint compound to the joint.
- Cut: Next let us measure and cut the Paperless drywall tape to the desired length.
- Apply: Place the fiberglass mesh tissue tape over the wet joint compound and press it into the joint.
- Smoothing: Use a drywall knife or finishing trowel to smooth the tape into the joint compound, making sure the mesh is fully embedded. Be sure to remove any bubbles or wrinkles that may have formed under the tape.
- Joint Compound: Once the tape is in place, apply a thin layer of joint compound over the tape. Sand the edges of the joint compound smooth so it blends seamlessly with the surrounding drywall.
- Sanding: Once the joint compound has dried, sand it smooth to remove any rough spots. We may need to apply additional coats of joint compound, sanding between each coat to create a smooth, even surface.
- Prime and Paint: Once the last coat of joint compound has dried and been sanded smooth, We can prime and paint the area to match the rest of the wall or ceiling.
